Made to be gentle on skin
Goat milk soap is a slower, softer way to get clean than a bottle of detergent. Here is what that actually means in the shower.
Explore CollectionSimple ingredients
Olive, coconut, and palm oils, goat milk, and mineral colorant. No long list of things you cannot pronounce — the whole recipe fits in a sentence.
Creamy, not stripping
Goat milk gives the lather its softness. The bar cleans without leaving your skin tight and squeaky the way a hard detergent bar can.
Made by hand
Small batches, poured and swirled one loaf at a time, then cut by hand. That is why no two bars come out looking quite the same.

The whole ingredient list
Nothing hidden behind a "fragrance blend." This is every ingredient that goes into a Cloven and Clean bar, and what each one is doing.
| Ingredient | What it does |
|---|---|
| Goat milk | The reason for the whole thing. Softens the lather and keeps the bar mild. |
| Saponified olive oil | The conditioning base of the bar — gentle, slow-lathering, easy on skin. |
| Saponified coconut oil | Brings the big, quick lather and most of the cleaning power. |
| Saponified palm oil | Hardens the bar so it holds its shape and lasts in the dish. |
| Fragrance | Every scent in the range. Naked Prairie is made without any. |
| Mica (titanium dioxide, iron oxide) | Mineral colorant. It is what makes the swirls. |
Crafted Slowly. Made With Care.
Every bar of our soap starts with rich, nourishing goat milk—hand-mixed, carefully poured, and uniquely swirled so no two bars are ever identical. We believe good things take time, which is why we age every batch for six weeks. The result? An exceptionally gentle, ultra-creamy lather that leaves your skin feeling pampered, hydrated, and refreshed.
Blend
Goat milk goes in with the oils and the batch is brought together by hand.
Pour & swirl
Color is folded through the loaf so each pour swirls a little differently.
Cure
The loaf rests until it is firm enough to cut and hard enough to last.
Cut by hand
Every bar is cut off the loaf by hand, which is why no two are identical.
